Grace Jacobs

Grace Jacobs passed peacefully and comfortably in her beautiful home in Florida on November 8th surrounded by loving friends and family. She was 89 and had battled breast cancer with determination and strength. Grace lived her life to the fullest spreading her joy, happiness, positive spirit and radiant smile, as the true ‘Amazing Grace’. She was an inspiration to generations across communities.

Grace was an admired teacher, an avid gardener, boater, water-skier & scuba diver, a loyal Yankee fan, tennis player and active member of many civic and professional organizations.

She will be missed dearly by her daughter, Jill, her grandchildren, Cary (& Katie), Deanna and her youngest namesake, Grace, as well as her sister, Jean, nieces, nephews and a host of many, many wonderful friends. Her beloved husband and life-long companion, Dr. Jerry, had predeceased her. A gathering to celebrate Grace’s life will be held in Brewster, NY, at the Southeast Grille House on Sunday, January 11th, from 1:00 to 3:00pm and in Jensen Beach, FL at the Eagle Marsh Golf Club on Sunday, January 18th from 3:00 to 5:00 pm.
