Judy Callahan of Brewster was selected to succeed Rosemary Bahr who stepped down last month to accept a new position in Westchester. A Kent man faces felony charges of assault for allegedly attacking a young woman with a beer bottle. Kent Police reported the arrest Tuesday of David Beers, 24, in connection with the incident that reportedly took place last weekend at 3 a.m. at McCarthy's Restaurant on Route 52 in Lake Carmel.
