Sidewalk project takes a giant step in Kent
A leisurely stroll from downtown Carmel through the Town of Kent is in the offing now that Uncle Sam has come up with $81 million for transportation related projects in New York. The Southeast Museum is working on its 2009 historical exhibition on the Borden Milk Factory. They are asking the community for stories about the Borden Milk Factory that operated in Brewster. The Southeast Museum's exhibit will detail Gail Borden's revolutionary invention of condensed milk, the dire need for pure clean milk, and the factory in Brewster. Full Story
