Mahopac Students Try to Change Water Habits
MAHOPAC - A group of Mahopac High School students launched a project last month aimed at reducing the number of plastic water bottles their classmates were using and discarding on a regular basis. Recycling bins at the school were collecting as many as 1,000 bottles a week. Full Story
Students Construct Mural Made from Soda Cans
MAHOPAC - Recycling is an art at Fulmar Road Elementary School. Fifth graders there have turned 1,280 empty soda cans into an 8x20-foot mural to be installed outside the art room. Full Story
