Bark Park Opens in Mahopac
Putnam County now has a place where pooches of every breed and size can legally recreate without a leash. The Sycamore Bark Park opened Sunday in Mahopac when 75 dog owners and their four-legged friends gathered to enjoy the fenced-in canine runs. Full Story

Boy Saves Mother's Life
Last month the Patterson Town Board recognized a little hero with a big hear t . Nicholas Riordan, just eight years old, was at home when his mother, Sherry Miller, collapsed and suffered a seizure. Young Nicholas recognized the danger and ran to a neighbor ' s house to seek help and call 911. Full Story
