Indians Drop Three of Four to John Jay, Arlington
MAHOPAC - The Mahopac High baseball team dropped three of four games last week during a tough stretch, falling 5-4 to Arlington Monday at home, after dropping an 8-4 decision to John Jay EF last Saturday, also at Mahopac. The Indians were edged by Jay, 3-2, last Thursday in East Fishkill, and opened the week two days earlier with a 12-3 victory over the same Patriots. Full Story
'Pac Laxmen Pick Up Three Wins, Improve to 7-4
MAHOPAC - The Mahopac High lacrosse team picked up three wins last week, topping Suffern, 16-3, Saturday, after rolling over Clarkstown South, 12-1, Thursday, and Brewster, 11-4, the prior Tuesday. Saturday at the Suffern Middle School, the Indians had no problem controlling play, and upped their record to 7-4 with the victory. The Mounties fell to 5-5. Full Story

The 2009 4-H Fishing Clinic (Learn To Fish),is scheduled to be held on Saturday, June 6th at the upper pavilion at the Putnam County Veteran's Memorial Park, starting at 10am and running to 3pm. CARMEL - The Carmel High baseball team dropped a pair of one-run decisions to hot Arlington last week, falling 9-8 Saturday on the road, after dropping a 9-8 decision last Thursday at home.
