Dear Editor: Disappointed with the failure Wednesday evening, May 6th, to enact a decisive vote putting to rest once and for the foreseeable future any proposed widening or straightening of Peekskill Hollow Road from Adams corners to Route 301, I was pleased at the attendance of large numbers of well informed, interested and an articulate group of people. Dear Editor: Where the heck is the "Alien Rock" from Gypsy Trail Rd.? This icon on the Kent/Carmel border just north of the 4H fairgrounds has been a famous (at least to my family) landmark for years, at least the 12 we have lived here. All of a sudden, it has disappeared. Full Story

Dear Editor: "Secularists and atheists" are "misguided," intolerant people, according to you. These labels sound very intolerant to me. You ask that atheists try to be tolerant.
