Brewster Education Foundation Golf Tourney Raises Dollars
More than 100 golfers were out in force Monday and enjoyed a beautiful spring day on the links at the Centennial Golf Club while raising money for the Brewster Education Foundation. The foundation is a not-for-profit organization founded in1984 to fund educational initiatives not otherwise covered in the traditional Brewster School District budgeting system. Full Story

Students Learn Orienteering Skills
Children from North Salem's Pequenakonck Elementary School got back to basics from their world of hightech gadgetry by venturing into the wilds of western Kent. The 5th graders visited Putnam- Northern Westchester BOCES' Center for Environmental Education last week where they learned how to navigate in the wilderness by using a compass and orienteering skills.
