Carmel Girls Win Nyack Tournament, Take Two from Mahopac
CARMEL - The Carmel High softball team won the Nyack Tournament last weekend, topping Sleepy Hollow, 4-3, in the opener, then beating the host, 8-1, in the championship game Sunday at Nyack. The Rams also took two from Mahopac, winning 11-1 Monday on the road, after taking a 5-3 decision last Friday at home. Carmel fell to Mamaroneck and Arlington to open the week. Full Story

MAHOPAC - The Mahopac High lacrosse team split two games last week, dropping a 14-4 decision last Thursday at John Jay, after nipping Greeley, 9-8, the prior Tuesday in Chappaqua. Thursday against John Jay (6-6), the host jumped to a 6-1 advantage after one quarter and never looked back. Full Story

Inconsistency Haunts Brewster Girls in Losses to John Jay, Yorktown
BREWSTER - The Brewster High girls lacrosse team took a pair of tough losses last week, falling to Yorktown, 17-10, Monday on the road, after dropping a 14-13 decision to John Jay CR last Saturday in Cross River. Monday at Yorktown (12-0), the Bears trailed 10-4 by halftime against one of the best girls teams in the section. Full Story
