BREWSTER - The Brewster High lacrosse team got off to a strong start Monday at home against a tough Somers squad, but couldn't maintain the effort and ended up dropping a 13-7 decision to the Tuskers. Brewster played one of its best games of the season last Thursday at Hen Hud, tripping up the Sailors, 10-6, and the Bears fell to Yorktown, 16-6, two days earlier at home. Full Story

CARMEL - After dropping a 10-9 heartbreaker against RCK last Wednesday at Carmel, the Rams got right back on track last weekend, opening with a 9-1 win Friday over Fox Lane at Dutchess Stadium, then winning the Tantalos Tournament with wins over Mahopac and Fox Lane. BREWSTER - The Brewster High boys track and field team took second place - behind Arlington - at the Northern County Championships, held Saturday at Arlington High School. Brewster's girls team took fifth place, behind winner Arlington and runner-up RCK. Full Story
