Deaths Albert P. Marino

Albert P. Marino a Brewster, NY resident died Wednesday May 20, 2009 in Danbury, CT at the age of 72.

Mr. Marino was born January 16, 1937, in Danbury, CT, son of the late Michael and Rose (Donato) Marino. After attending Danbury Schools he later served with the United States Air Force. He was a parishioner of St. Lawrence O'Toole Church in Brewster. Mr. Marino worked for 20 years in shipping and receiving for Energy Research in Danbury, CT and most recently had been a custodian for New Fairfield High School before retiring in 2006.

Mr. Marino is survived by his daughter Teri Marino of Pittsfield, ME, his five sisters, Philomena Garcia of Danbury, CT, Teresa Lobdell (Ronald) of Bethel, CT, Anita Jones (William) of New Milford, CT, Marilyn Scalzo (Louis) of Bridgewater, CT, Elaine Potenziani (Nicholas) of Newtown, CT, two grandchildren, Shannon Davis of Plymouth, ME, Brent Davis of Woolwich, ME, a great grandson Brody Davis of Newport, ME, and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife of 31 years, Joann, in 2000. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 27, 2009, 10am at St. Lawrence O'Toole Church in Brewster, NY. Interment will be private. The wake will be held on Tues. May 26, 2009 from 4pm to 8pm at the Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Ave., Brewster, NY 10509.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the American Kidney Fund, 6110 Executive Blvd., Suite 1010, Rockville, MD 20852.
