County Adds Jobs in April
Putnam's rate of unemployment has declined to 6.1 percent a drop of more than one-half percent from the 6.7 percent recorded in March which was the highest in more than two decades. The New York State Labor Department reported the April statistics last week, which came as no surprise to Putnam lawmakers. Full Story
