Bernard H. "Chip" Brewer Sr. of North Salem, NY died Saturday May 30, 2009 in Purdys, NY, at the age of 88. Mr. Brewer was born June 7, 1920 in Carmel, NY, son of the late Bernard E. and Addie (Holmes) Brewer. He graduated from Brewster High School then married Dorothy Minerley in Alabama in Dec. of 1942. John J. Werner 68, of Kent, NY died on June 1, 2009 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Werner was born on June 2, 1940 in the Bronx, NY to Gottfried and Helene (Schwartz) Werner. Leight, Perry J., age 80, a lifelong resident of Holmes, NY, died Friday, May 29, 2009 at his home. Mr. Leight was born June 30, 1928 in Poughkeepsie, NY to David and Grace (Davis) Leight. Annie was born on April 10, 1942 in Belfast, North Ireland to William and Annie (Monaghan) Taggart. On May 1, 1965 she married Richard Sprague in Pennsylvania.
