To the Editor: Last Tuesday I learned of the horrible accident that took the life of a young mother and her 8 year old daughter outside the dancing school in Brewster. That evening I attended a Mets game in Queens and on my way home I passed the site of this horror and could not believe the size of the memorial that had been set up. Full Story

To the Editor: In the story of the Vaclav Havel play being presented by Arts on the Lake in last week's paper [Czech Presidents Play], it was said that because the actors were being employed under a contract with Actors Equity Association this was the first professionally produced production in Putnam County in recent years.
