Eileen Adorno
Eileen Adorno (nee Winter; Lubkeman) 59, of Taylorsville, NC, formerly of the Putnam County area, passed away Saturday, May 9th, 2009, after a valiant, 3-year battle with breast cancer. She was born October 11th, 1949, to Wilbur and Helen Winter, then of Shrub Oak, NY, and was eldest of their seven children. Eileen's formative years were spent in Putnam Valley. Full Story
John J. Werner
John J. Werner, age 68, a lifelong resident of Kent, NY, died Monday, June 1, 2009, at his home. Mr. Werner was born June 2, 1940, to Gottfried and Helen (Swartz) Werner. He was born in the Bronx and the family moved to Carmel, NY. when he was four years old. He attended Carmel schools. Joseph R. Mosca
Joseph R. Mosca, 93, of Carmel, NY, died on June 11, 2009, at Hudson Valley Hospital. Mr. Mosca was born on February 10, 1916, in Pennsylvania to Luigi and Maria Mosca. Mr. Mosca proudly served his country with the US Navy during World War II. In 1943 he married MaryAnn Marschak. He worked for the Water Department as a Heavy Equipment Operator in the City of Yonkers, NY. Full Story
Gregory Carl Wind, Sr.
Gregory Carl Wind, Sr., 47, of Siloam Springs, AR, passed away Friday, June 12, 2009 at his home. Greg was born on May 12, 1962, in Buffalo, NY, a son of Anthony G. Wind, Jr. and Ruth V. (Brown) Wind of Arkansas. Greg was a self-employed finish carpenter and a chef. He enjoyed fishing, writing poetry, and animals. Full Story
