Despite police on multiple levels arresting suspected drunks in record numbers across the county, Putnam's STOPDWI program has received a Special Traffic Options Program to Combat DWI grant that is being used to further rid area roads of the potential deadly drunk. Stabbing In Brewster The stabbing and robbery of a 57-year-old Central American man in downtown Brewster by three men is under investigation by members of the Putnam County Sheriff's Department. The incident happened last Thursday night around 9 o'clock when the victim was walking near Center Street and was accosted by the trio wearing hooded sweatshirts. Full Story
Charges Upgraded for Man Accused in Brewster Deaths
