Schimtt, Clarke Win Kickboxing Titles

Joe Schimtt in the ring. USA Karate Fight team did an outstanding job this weekend at the AKBF Muay Thai Kickboxing Championships at the Ice Time Sports Complex in Newburgh New York

Joe Schimtt defeated Matt Leddick for the AKBF San Da Championship and Dave Clarke scored a 2nd rd TKO over phil Finkle to win the 201lb Muay Thia Kickboxing championship

In non title bouts Dan Casey fought to a draw against Stuart Levine in a Jiu-jitsu super fight. Chris Jones defeated Dean Hancock , Howard Jones, Jermey Cappaso and Doug Jones also put on outstanding performances. The next Mixed Martial Art event will be August 1st at the Solaris Fitness in Yorktown , also October 10th at the Patterson Recreation Center.
