Bright Future for Brewster's 2005 Valedictorian, Bernadette Laber

Bernadette Laber contemplates her future in the beautiful Smithsonian sculpture garden. Bernadette Laber contemplates her future in the beautiful Smithsonian sculpture garden. Bernadette Laber graduated as Valedictorian from Brewster High School in 2005. She then attended George Washington University where she became interested and heavily involved in the Elliot School of International Affairs. She graduated on May 17, 2009 in Washington, D.C. with a degree in Bachelor of Arts and a major in International Affairs along with a Secondary Field of Study in Socio-Cultural Anthropology.

Through her college years she has traveled to Brazil, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Portugal, France and, Italy. Even though she has graduated she plans to continue her travels abroad and teach natives the English language. This summer, Bernadette is volunteering as an intern with Federal District Count Judge Reggie Walton.
