Weedeating Fish Move Into Mahopac's Lake Casse
But Supervisor Schmitt says 'they never nibble on toes'
Four-hundred-eighty-five weedeating fish have moved into Lake Casse. The sterile triploid carp were purchased by the Lake Casse Park District to rid the lake of milfoil and other vegetation that has begun strangling the body of water in Mahopac.
