Mahopac Alumnus Graduates from NYU School of Medicine
Dr. Andrew Erwin Schober, the 1999 salutatorian at Mahopac High School, graduated with honors in anesthesiology from NYC School of Medicine on May 14, 2009. He was also inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, medicine's equivalent of Phi Beta Kappa. He is currently doing an internship year, three years of residency in anesthesiology and a critical care fellowship at UCSF Medical Center in San Francisco, CA. On May 31, 2009, family and friends gathered at Four Brothers Restaurant to celebrate Andrew's accomplishments. Schober is an alumnus of Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, where he graduated with honors in Psychology and a BA in Biology. After graduation, he worked for a year as an EMT in Chicago and subsequently in Mahopac, as well as a medical technician in the emergency room at Northern Westchester Medical Center in Mt. Kisco, NY.
