CARMEL - The Carmel Cubs 16U baseball team won three of four games last week, ripping Peekskill, 14-1, Sunday at Crane Road, after topping Patterson, 8-4, Saturday at Peckham Field. The Cubs dropped a 7-1 decision to New Castle last Wednesday on the road, and opened the week with an 11- 10 victory over Ossining. Full Story

CARMEL - The Carmel Cubs 14U baseball team split four games last week, falling to Larchmont/Mamaroneck, 6-4, Monday, and dropping a 5-2 decision to PV/C Sunday, after topping Mahopac, 18-6, Saturday. Patterson 10-year-olds Shut Out North Salem, Cortlandt
PATTERSON - The Patterson Pirates 10U baseball team shut out two opponents last week, blanking Cortlandt, 5-0, Sunday at Peckham Field, after topping North Salem, 3-0, Saturday on the road. The two wins left the Pirates at 10-1 and in first place in the National League in WPBA play. Full Story

CARMEL - The Carmel Cubs 10U baseball team took two tough losses last week, dropping a 5-3 decision to Cortlandt Saturday, after falling to Putnam Valley/Cortlandt, 8-2, the prior Tuesday. Saturday at the Crane Road field, Nick Stefanak took the loss on the mound for the Cubs, who fell to 2-8 in WPBA play. Full Story

KENT - The Kent White Sox 10U baseball team played three one-run games last week, but unfortunately for the Sox, they came out on the losing end of two of the three games. Kent dropped a 9-8 decision to Briarcliff Sunday at Ryan Park, after claiming a 5-4 victory over Putnam Valley/ Cortlandt the prior Thursday. Full Story

MAHOPAC - The Mahopac Warriors 17U baseball team picked up three wins in four games last week, beating the Monroe Crusaders, 11-3 and 8-3, in a Sunday double-header at Peckham Field, after topping the Clarkstown Stars, 3-2, the prior Wednesday, also at Peckham, all in USSSA league action. MAHOPAC - The Mahopac 11U baseball team picked up a 7-1 victory over Putnam Valley/Cortlandt Sunday at the Crane Road field, after edging Armonk, 4-3, Friday, also at Crane. KENT - The Kent White Sox 18U baseball team got on a hot streak last week. Kent topped Ossining, 11-1, Sunday on the road, beat the Taconic Rangers, 8-2, and 12-1 in a twin bill last Thursday, and opened the week with a doubleheader sweep of Fox Lane on Tuesday, winning 4-2 and 8-3. Full Story
