Ball urges alien crackdowns
Last Thursday, Assemblyman Greg Ball held a meeting with more than 100 citizens to discuss new proposals for an aggressive crackdown on illegal immigration and DWIs. Damages case adjourned
State Supreme Court Justice Andrew O’Rourke adjourned the Kent Manor damages suit until August 13 this Monday, then issued a gag order on both sides in the case as well as members of the Putnam County Legislature, forbidding them from discussing the case publicly. Full Story

Golf tourney raises money
One hundred fifty golfers took to the links amidst hot and humid weather Monday to raise money for the Stephen Driscoll Chapter of the Fraternal Order of Police and its mission to support local charities, especially the Special Olympics. Full Story
