White Sox Summer Highlighted by Titles
KENT—The Kent White Sox 18U baseball team recently concluded its second consecutive strong summer season. The Sox won the WPBA 18U regular-season division title, and was also the WBA 18U Wood Bat division winner.
Kent, under manager Neil Oratz and coach George Torres, closed out the summer at 28-8 overall, going 18-4 in the WPBA and 10-4 in the WBA’s Wood Bat League. Full Story

CARMEL—The Carmel Cubs 16U baseball team recently concluded a solid summer season that saw the team to 15-4 and reach the WPBA playoffs.
The Cubs, the No. 2 seed in the tournament, got upset by No. 7 Lewisboro in the first round, 7-4, but such is the game of baseball in a single-game elimination: anything can happen. Full Story
