Vote Sternberg
Dear Editor:
Every once in a while we are blessed with an outstanding candidate that is truly a breath of fresh air. I am referring to Judge David Steinberg from Hyde Park who is running for the Supreme Court in the 9th Judicial District. Having been instrumental in assisting good people into public office for over 40 years as a committeeman as well as having served on the Dutchess County Legislature for over 20 years, I feel qualified to offer some sound judgment on a fine, dignified and compassionate person who deserves this office.
Judge Steinberg has won numerous service awards from the State Bar Association. He was named “Magistrate of the Year 2009” by the Dutchess County Magistrate Association. He has been a member of the New York State Bar Association from 1998 to the present day. Judge Steinberg was elected Hyde Park Town Justice in 2003 and re-elected in 2007. He also has been appointed on many occasions to serve the city of Poughkeepsie as Acting City Judge. I could go on and on to fill this page with many more accolades that he has received but suffice to say, he is an experienced, dedicated hard worker, and certainly deserves your consideration on November the 3rd.
