Groundswell of Grassroots Support

Dear Editor:

Due to the support of Patterson’s Independence Party voters, I am ecstatic to be a victor in the September Primary Election for the Independence Party line.

With a groundswell of grassroots support and dozens of hand-written ballots, my candidacy prevailed with 52 write-in votes; claiming the top spot amongst all four candidates.

This is a tremendous victory for me and for the people of Patterson. Despite outside influence from Albany and Yonkers, we forged forward with a successful write-in campaign.

Without question, running as a write-in candidate was an extremely difficult undertaking, but the residents of Patterson stood by me and made this win possible.

I am grateful to all of the Patterson Independence Party voters who went to the polls and cast their vote by writing in my name. This win is an amazing show of support and a huge vote of confidence.

With the Primary Election now behind us, I look forward to continuing my campaign on the issues that matter most to Patterson’s residents.

As always, I am here to be of service so please do not hesitate to call on me.
