Hazel M. Linkenhoker

Linkenhoker, Hazel M., age 78, of Brewster, NY, died Tuesday, September 29, 2009 in Yorktown Heights, NY.

Mrs. Linkenhoker was born December 12, 1930 in Mahopac, NY to Lewis M. and Phebe (Casey) Sprague. She attended schools in Mahopac.

Mrs. Linkenhoker married James R. Linkenhoker on November 11, 1950, in Ludingtonville, NY. Mr. Linkenhoker died January 23, 2002.

While always a loving mother and grandmother, Mrs. Linkenhoker was also there for many a neighbor in time of need. She will be missed greatly.

Mrs. Linkenhoker is survived by her six children, Elizabeth A. Geis, and her husband Wayne of Blountville, TN; James R. Linkenhoker Jr. and his wife Brenda, of Brewster, NY; Marlene M. Linkenhoker of Staatsburg, NY; Wendy L. Vaught and her husband Dave of Bristol, TN; Cynthia L. Cervoni and her husband Paul of Brewster, NY; and Robert J. Linkenhoker of Brewster, NY. Also 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at the Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster. Interment followed at Raymond Hill Cemetery, Carmel, NY.
