MTA Bridge Delay Angers Southeast
An old bridge carrying Prospect Hill Road over the Metro-North Railroad yards in Southeast will remain closed indefinitely.
Signs were posted in the summer of 2008 at Route 312 across from the Tilly Foster Farm and on North Main Street in Brewster advising motorists of the “temporary” closing. But that was before the economic crisis ravaged the Empire State. Full Story

A Yorktown couple is facing felony charges for allegedly possessing jewelry reported stolen from a Mahopac home.
Carmel Police arrested Barbara Nokaj, 19, last week and an 18-year-old male companion as a result of a previous arrest when cops charged the young couple with unlawful possession of marijuana during a traffic stop. Full Story
