Why are the portraits disappearing at Putnam Family and Community Services headquarters in Carmel?
Detective “Dr. Whodunnit” will attempt to find the answer next month when the agency’s dinner dance benefit takes place at Sinapi’s Ceola Manor in Jefferson Valley.
Cheryl McKeever, marketing, development and public relations specialist, said for the first time the annual fundraiser will feature an “interactive mystery that unfolds throughout the evening. Members of the audience will have an opportunity to assist ‘Dr. Whodunnit’ unravel clues and solve the mystery of the disappearing portraits.”
All proceeds from the dinner will benefit the mental health, chemical dependency, and family support programs offered by Putnam Family and Community Services.
Executive Director Edythe Schwartz said her agency has been affected by the recent economic downturn: “We have suffered budget cuts during the past year. More than ever, our organization is counting on community support, and the dinner theater on November 6 will help keep our services going strong.”
