One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest on Stage at CHS

One of America’s premier dramas will be performed this weekend at Carmel High School.
One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, written by Ken Kesey, is set in an Oregon asylum and studies the effects of the institutional process on the human mind.
The script has been listed in Time Magazine’s best 100 plays of the century.
Bryan Lynch, a music instructor at Carmel High School who is directing the production, commended his students for their “dedication and extremely hard work.”
Members of the cast include Robert McKiernon, Rudy Giugliano, Michelle Isioye, Britney Carrasco, Lauren Lonzotti, Donna Matrician, Jack Dougherty, Patrick Lovett, Austin Guerazzi, Sebastian Savino, Anthony Guinti, John Servider, Rocco Rea, Will Vatkin, Chris Zahakos, Elizabeth Dumont, Frank Smith, Caitlyn Wachter, Ralph Barone, Randall Mulkins, Gabby Buck, Dan Smith, Flynn O’Shaughnessy, Deborah Bjornsti, and Rebecca Meyers.
Lynch also had praise for Kelly Mc- Cabe, who acted as stage manager; stage crew—Rebecca Myers, Kayla Van Name, and Mark Nicotera; members of the Art Club—Russell O’Leary and Alycia Ricca, and Set Design Club member Luke Francis.
The show will be performed on Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30pm, with matinees scheduled for Saturday and Sunday at 2pm at Kay Casey Hall.
