MAHOPAC—Quarterback TJ Foley rushed for 85 yards and three touchdowns, and passed for two more scores, as the Mahopac High football team ripped Lincoln, 37-14, in a non-playoff game last Thursday at Mahopac.

The Indians, who close the season at 5-4, scored in the first, on a six-yard pass from Foley to John Maloney, and led 28-0 at halftime, after putting up three more TDs in the second quarter.

Foley started the second-quarter scoring with a six-yard run, then connected with Mark DiCarlo on a fouryard TD pass. Foley ran in a four-yard TD to make it a 28-0 halftime lead.

In the third, Foley scored on a sixyard run, good for a 35-0 lead, and then the Indians got a safety, when Tom Irwin sacked the Lancers quarterback in the end zone.

Foley finished with 85 yards and three TDs on 13 carries, and completed 7-of-9 attempts in the air for 88 yards and two TDs.

Dillon Addonizio added 57 yards on 15 carries for Mahopac, and the Indians got three interceptions, with James Lenehan grabbing two. Tom Viento also had a pick.

Irwin and Maloney each had a sack, and Irwin also had a fumble recovery.

Lincoln fell to 2-7.

“It was a good way to end the season,” ‘Pac coach Tom Donahoe said. “We did some things on offense… like a no-huddle, with Foley calling plays at the line. He did a good job with that. Defensively, PJ DeMercurio led us with six tackles, and had a good game. We had good field position in the first half… it was a nice sendoff for the seniors.”
