Volunteers Needed for Holidays

Santa’s helpers will be out early on Saturday installing 85 Christmas trees and a Chanukah menorah on the Gleneida lakeshore in downtown Carmel.

Organizers of the Carmel Holiday Festival have asked the public wishing to assist to “join the party” at 9am sharp.

Carmel attorney William Shilling, who spearheads the festival each year, has asked residents of the area desiring to help to “stop by. I guarantee you will get into the holiday spirit.”

Next Saturday, November 28, the trees will be decorated with lights and streamers in preparation for the December event.
