Bubblemania at North Salem School District

Students at the Pequenakonck Elementary School in North Salem now know the science of blowing bubbles.

The boys and girls from Southeast, Croton Falls, and North Salem were visited last week by Casey Carle—a man calling himself a “bubbleologist,” who created bubble sculptures, bubble snow showers, a bubble crystal ball, bubbles within bubbles, and even the “human bubble” by encasing a student inside a huge soapy film.

Carle introduced the young students to scientific words like “solution” and “formula,” and provided them with some of his scientific secrets, telling the children: “With practice and hard work you can become ‘bubbleologists’ too!”
