Michael Donovan, with his second grade students, helped organize a food drive at the Matthew Paterson Elementary School in the Carmel School District. The children made posters and announcements requesting food to be donated by teachers and students.
Their efforts contributed to the success of the 'Fill the Truck' Food Drive sponsored by the Carmel Rotary Club and Shoprite of Carmel, on October 17th & 18th. Approximately $7,200 worth of groceries were collected and then delivered to local food pantries.
