Open House at Whispering Pine Garden Center

Whispering Pine Garden Center & Florist has been in business since 1956— a total of 53 years.

Margaret Kuck and her two sons, John and Tom, founded the business, which is located on 22 acres of land on Route 6 in Mahopac.

Today Brad & Kathy Kuck run Whispering Pine and they grow almost all of the annuals and perennials that are for sale. They are currently working with George Whipple at Tilly Foster Farm to sell Christmas items in the farm’s Old Fashion Country Store, along with Christmas trees and wreaths. A portion of the proceeds will go to the day-to-day operations of Tilly Foster Farm.

Whispering Pine will be at Tilly Foster Farm on November 27 from 12 noon to 7pm, and every Saturday and Sunday until Christmas from 8:30am to 5:30pm.

Every year Whispering Pine holds their annual open house to thank the community for its support over the past 53 years. This year’s event takes place on the weekend of November 21 and 22 (Saturday and Sunday) between 11am and 3pm, both days.

Whispering Pine Garden Center & Florist is open Mon-Sat 8am to 5pm and Sunday 8am to 4pm.
