Joan Baxter Hill

Joan Baxter Hill, 82, a resident of Mahopac for more than 50 years, died in Vero Beach, Florida, on November 7. She is survived by sons Brian (Maureen) of Vero Beach, and Timothy (Lynn) of Mahopac; daughter Karen (James) Czysz of Vero Beach; two sisters: Barbara Stabe of Savannah, GA, and Patricia McCabe of Mahopac; three grandchildren: Michael and Brendon Harp and Lauren Hill; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest and her sister Charlene Azzaretti. A Mass to celebrate her life will be held at St. John the Evangelist Church on Saturday, December 5th, at 9:45 AM, with internment immediately following at The Cemetery of the Assumption in Peekskill. Donations may be made to VNA Hospice, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
