Schools reach contract agreement with teachers
At the December Brewster Board of Education meeting, the school board announced that the district and the Brewster Teachers Association has reached a successful conclusion to their contract negotiations and put in place a three-year contract. Full Story
Cops to be in candid camera
Early next year, Carmel Police officers patrolling roads in and around the Carmel-Mahopac area will have an added safety tool installed in their squad cars.
Hardware and software to provide live video feeds from vehicles in the field to a dispatcher at CPD headquarters, as well as other squad cars, will be installed thanks to a federal grant obtained by Congressman John Hall. Full Story
