Gertrude L. Kirsch ERIc
Kirsch, Gertrude L., age 90, a longtime resident of Bedford Hills and the surrounding area, died on Friday, December 18, 2009, in Somers.
Born on August 23, 1919, in Afoltern, Switzerland to Willie and Gertrud (Weckesser) Eisold, Gertrude later married Andreas Kirsch on June 2, 1946, in Germany, and together they came to the United States in April of 1952. Full Story
Brewster Third Graders Perform at Danbury Mall
A holiday tradition continued this year when third graders from the John F. Kennedy Elementary School in Brewster converged on the Danbury Mall.
The 74 eight- and nine-year-olds were not shopping, but singing a variety of musical selections, to the delight of scores of shoppers who frequented the regional mall prior to the holidays. Full Story
