Putnam Federal Credit Union Holds Successful ‘Toys for Tots’ Campaign
Putnam FCU has wrapped up its annual ‘Toys for Tots’ toy drive. Employees raised $500 in cash, which was matched with an additional $500 contribution from the Credit Union. The $1000 was donated by check directly to the Marine Corps League to purchase toys at a wholesale price. Full Story

Burglary for Love?
A teenaged boy is facing felony charges of burglary because state police say he was infatuated with a teenaged girl who lived down the block.
Somers State Police Investigator Cornelius Merritt declined to identify the 16-year-old boy who first burglarized the residence near the Putnam County line last November when he was 15 years old. Full Story
