ACT Practice Test Offered for College Bound Students

College-bound high school students can improve their standardized test scores by taking practice ACT and SAT tests. The Mahopac Public Library, in cooperation with Kaplan Test Prep Inc., is offering free practice tests and followup workshops to help students gain skills and confidence, and give them an advantage when they take the “real” tests.

A Practice ACT test will be given at the Library on Friday, February 12, from 10am – 1pm (Mahopac schools are closed on Feb. 12). Enrollment for the Practice ACT Test at the Library is limited and registration is required. Register online at mahopaclibrary.org, or call 845-628-2009, ext 100. Students are advised to bring a #2 pencil and a calculator to the ACT Practice test.

A Follow-Up Workshop, led by a Kaplan representative, will be held on Thursday, February 18, at 7pm. Practice test scores will be returned to each student and test-taking tips will be discussed. When you register for the ACT Practice Test you are automatically signed up for the Follow-up Workshop.
