Carmel Girls Remain Unbeaten on Slopes

CARMEL—The Carmel High girls ski team defeated Brewster and Greeley in a Southern League tri-meet at Thunder Ridge last Friday. Carmel’s boys team also topped both the Bears and the Quakers on the same day.

The Carmel girls team total time was 231.6. Greeley totaled 246.41, and Brewster’s total was 259.81.
The win lifted the Rams girls to 5-0 this season.

having a great year and led the team in two of our three races.”
Carmel’s boys team (4-1) finished with a combined time of 275.03, barely edging Greeley’s 275.69. Brewster ’s total was 277.7.
Jeff Scott led the Rams with a firstplace, 35.47 effort. Keith Lauria was second in 36.95, Adam Ryason was eighth overall in 44.8, Matt Doyle was 11th at 47.32, Andrew Plant finished 17th in 53.5 and Tyler Boalt took 20th place at 56.99.
“The boys performed well against both teams,” Tornatore said. “Jeff and Keith continue to be consistent. Both of the are having an excellent season.”

Carmel was set to ski today (Thursday) against Byram Hills and Blind Brook at Thunder Ridge.
