LAKE CARMEL

A night of Irish song and story

Once again, on Saturday, March 13, at 8pm, the Irish—and those who love them—will gather to share their songs and stories at Arts on the Lake, in the Lake Carmel Cultural Center in Lake Carmel. This special celebration has become a popular tradition in Putnam County.

Traditional musicians and singers will open a night of reminiscing by celebrated Irish actor and director of the Abbey Theatre, Vincent Dowling. Vincent’s presentation—a one man show, “Wild on Wilde”—has been critically acclaimed everywhere.

Join Vincent and musicians Patrick Cummings, Pat Delamere, Ed Todd, Neil Hickey, Kate and Jan O’Connor- Hoekstra, Tim Pitt, and Pallas and Mike Scott.

There will be plenty of sing-along, too, for those who just have to break into song when they hear these wonderful melodies.

The Men of the West, Raglan Road, Wild Rover, Dublin in the Rare Ould Times, The Coulin, and many, many more!

You might even get a chance to ask for your favorite from Pat Delamere, Irish accordionist of Rockaway Irish show band fame!
