Police Seek Public’s Help in Solving Christmas Day Burglary

BY ERIC GROSS

Do you know this man?

The Putnam County Sheriff’s Department has asked the public for its assistance in identifying a man wanted for committing a burglary of a Southeast liquor store on Christmas.

Chief Investigator A. Gerald Schramek said at 8pm that night, a white man forced entry into the closed business and stole a quantity of cash and liquor: “Our investigators assigned to the case developed several leads and secured photos capturing the image of the intruder. The photos are being released for public consumption in the hope that someone recognizes the suspect.”

Police ask anyone knowing the identity of the man photographed by a closed circuit camera inside the unidentified business to call the Sheriff’s Department’s Bureau of Criminal Investigation at 225-8060. All calls will be kept confidential.

Anyone knowing the identity of this man is asked to call police today.
