Florence Critelli

Florence Critelli of Brewster, NY died Thursday March 4, 2010, at the age of 94.

Mrs. Critelli was born November 3, 1915 in Lawrence, MA, daughter of the late Joseph and Christine (Pesce) Renda. On February 7, 1937, she married Joseph P. Critelli in Ozone Park, NY. After living in Venice, FL for 26 years they returned and settled in Brewster in May of 2001 and became members of St. Lawrence O’Toole Parish in Brewster. Mr. Critelli predeceased his wife in Sept. of 2001.

She is survived by her son Richard Critelli of New Hyde Park, NY; her daughter, Mary Jo Hartnett, and her husband Michael of Brewster; a sister, Gloria Vetrano of Belvidere, NJ; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services were private. Beecher Funeral Home in Brewster handled the arrangements. The family has asked that contributions in her memory be made to the American Cancer Society.
