We All Lose by Losing Teachers
Dear Editor:
No one denies that our state must cut its hysterical spending. Those who caused the pain get to choose those who must now bear the pain. Once again, the outdated and cruel enemy of accountability, tenure, rears its ugly head. Some of our best and brightest teachers will go. Not the professional politicians and bureaucrats at all level of our state and local government, but new and innovative teachers who are in schools to make a difference. Who loses? . . . We all do.
