Davidson, Rosalino named All-Section, eight others earn All-League honors
CARMEL—There are always a few things a team could have done better, but when all was said and done, it was another solid winter on the mats for the Carmel High wrestling team.
Rams 16th-year coach Bill Twardy saw his team win a league title for the third time in the last four years, and Carmel posted a 16-3 dual meet record, falling only to Cornwall (twice) and Fox Lane. Full Story

BREWSTER—No question about it - the Brewster High girls basketball team was hoping for a second consecutive trip to the Westchester County Center.
But a surging Peekskill squad derailed the Bears’ playoff hopes, sending Brewster home after a loss in the Class A quarterfinals. Brewster had beaten Tappan Zee in the opening round. Full Story

CARMEL—Before the season began, the Carmel High ice hockey team was a little worried that with the new league alignments, the Rams might not make it back to the sectional playoffs.

PV Clinches First Playoff Berth in Program History
Tyndal, Schmelmer named All-League
PUTNAM VALLEY—The Putnam Valley high boys basketball team had a season of firsts.
The Tigers won the fist tournament of any sort by grabbing the Solomon Schechter Tournament, and PV got its first win in the annual Putnam Challenge.
But the biggest accomplishment for the team was clinching the first-ever playoff birth in the boys basketball program’s history. Full Story

BREWSTER—Despite a 2-4 record in dual meets, the Brewster High boys swim team is optimistic that the program is heading in the right direction.

Brewster Lady Bulldogs U12 Hockey Wins Championship
Over the weekend of March 5-7, the girls traveled to Potsdam, NY to compete against the top tier II teams from across the state.
