It’s time for Men Who Cook
One of Putnam’s most fun-filled nights of the year takes place later this month when the Patterson Rotary hosts its annual Men Who Cook gala.
The 14th annual event that honors Howard Yager, executive director of the Hudson Valley Cerebral Palsy Association, is planned for April 24 at the Starr Ridge Banquet Hall in Southeast. Tickets for the event go on sale this week. Full Story

Eighteen students to be honored at Youth Awards Dinner
Eighteen of Putnam’s best and brightest high school students who volunteer for a variety of charitable and non-forprofit organizations will be recognized Friday at the county’s annual Youth Awards Dinner.

Members of Carmel Pack 1- Den 6 visited the Carmel Bagel-Deli-licious on Gleneida Avenue last week, where proprietor Kevin Stenger gave the boys a behind-the-scenes tour of what it takes to make a bagel.
