Galef, Leibell at Odds Over Teacher Retirement Incentive
Assemblywoman Sandy Galef favors an early retirement teacher incentive that will be voted upon in the State Assembly any day now.
The legislation would enact a temporary retirement incentive for teachers and other school personnel who are 55 or older and have 25 or more years of service, compared to 55 or older and 30 or more years in the system under current law. Full Story
