Last Friday evening the Harlem Magic Masters played Team Carmel in a fundraiser for the Carmel Cubs Cooperstown Baseball Team. The victorious Magic Masters put on a wonderful show that had all of the children in the gym dancing on the court. Full Story

23 Seek Board Seats in Putnam County Schools
A full field of candidates awaits residents of Putnam’s six school districts next month during annual school elections.
Monday was the final day to file petitions to run for a Board of Education seat and 23 candidates submitted their petitions to district clerks.
In the Brewster and Garrison School Districts, only two candidates filed for two seats. Full Story

Board of Ed Adopts $108 Million Budget
If the budget passes, spending in the Mahopac School District will increase by $120,000, following adoption of a $108 million budget by members of the Mahopac Board of Education. Full Story
