Offense Comes Around as Rams Roll Past Kennedy
CARMEL—After struggling to score runs last week, the Carmel High softball team is starting to see signs of life in its offense. The Rams rebounded from an extra-innings loss to John Jay East Fishkill to earn a commanding 12-2 win over Kennedy Catholic on Monday.
The Rams (1-3) finished with 20 hits as a team against Kennedy for their first win of the season.. Full Story
Tigers Beat Rye, Roll Past Suffern
PUTNAM VALLEY—The Putnam Valley High boys lacrosse team erased a 4-1 deficit and came back to beat Rye, 9-5, Saturday on the road, and the Tigers ripped Suffern, 12- 4, in a game played at PV the prior Thursday.
Saturday at Rye (4-2), the Garnets went up 4-1 at halftime. But the Tigers re-grouped and out-scored Rye 8-1 in the second half to earn the win. Full Story
PV Baseball Beats Panas, Loses to Kennedy
The Putnam Valley High School baseball team split the two games it played last week, defeating Walter Panas on the road, 4-0 last Tuesday before losing to John F. Kennedy at home, 13- 1, last Thursday.
In the game against Kennedy, Putnam Valley senior pitcher Anthony Tyndal took the loss, falling to 0-1. He lasted three innings. He also had the Tigers’ only RBI. Full Story
Kennedy Tops Putnam Valley, Falls to Carmel
SOMERS—If you watched the John F. Kennedy Catholic softball team on Monday, you may have been underwhelmed, as Kennedy was handed a 12-2 loss by Carmel. But if you watched on Thursday as JFK got a 14-3 win over Putnam Valley, you would be singing a different tune. PV Girls Lacrosse Gets a Win after Two Tough Losses
PUTNAM VALLEY—On Monday the Putnam Valley girls lacrosse team got a much needed bounce back win over league foe North Salem. Their previous two games were tough losses against tough teams, Friday was a 5-7 loss to Brewster and Wednesday was a 17-9 whooping at the hands of Mahopac. Full Story

MAHOPAC—The Mahopac High School softball team defeated host Putnam Valley last Friday, 7-5, after being defeated by Suffern, 4-0 last Thursday at home, and Hendrick Hudson, 4-3, last Tuesday on the road.
Mahopac’s record now stands at 3-3 overall. The Indians have not played any league games yet. Full Story
Mahopac Girls Defeat Put Valley, North Salem
The Mahopac High girls lacrosse team improved to 3-2 overall after wins over North Salem and Putnam Valley at home last week.
The Indians shut out North Salem, 11-0, last Friday in a League 1-B game and beat Putnam Valley, 17-9, last Wednesday. Full Story
Kennedy Track and Field Heads to Ossining Relays
SOMERS—The John F. Kennedy track and field team competed in the Ossining Relays on Saturday and performed admirably. The first event of the season was an all boys meet at Lincoln Hall so this was the first time the entire team got together for competition. The girl’s side really put on a show and performed well in Ossining. Full Story

Meyer leads Bears with five goals vs. Sailors
BREWSTER—Tim Meyer deposited five goals in the back of the net for Brewster last Thursday, as the Bears rode a strong first half to an 8-6 victory over Hendrick Hudson in a game played in Montrose.
MJ Garrity came through with a goal and two assists for the Bears (3-4 ), Paul Dingee added a goal and one assist and Matt Heintz scored once. Full Story
Bears Overcome Weather To Break Records
BREWSTER—With the league championships just over the horizon, the Brewster High track team competed in two non-league meets to get themselves ready for the championship. The Bears ran at the Tri-Valley Invitational and the Red Raider Invitational this past weekend. Full Story

BREWSTER—With over a week between games, the Brewster High softball team had plenty of practice time to fine-tune their skills heading into this week. Brewster Girls Fall to Lakeland/Panas, Top PV
BREWSTER—The Brewster High girls lacrosse team dropped a 16-5 decision to Lakeland/Panas Monday in a game played at Walter Panas High School. The Bears also posted a 7-5 victory over Putnam Valley last Friday on the road.
