The young men and women who excel in the classroom give back in a variety of ways, by coordinating food drives, fund raisers, and, last week, continued a tradition that began three years ago by cleaning the Southeast Town Park, off Pumphouse Road.

Under the direction of faculty advisor Art Holzmann the children spent several hours raking, sweeping, and cleaning debris from the park grounds for the upcoming season.

Southeast Parks and Recreation Supervisor MaryAnn Gallipani commended the boys and girls for their “community spirit. You are the greatest. Not only do we thank you, but everyone who uses this park thanks you for your kindness and caring.”
